TORONTO, ON (November 5, 2025) – Park Street Education, a national registered charity dedicated to closing the equity gap in education for underserved youth, has received a renewed $20,000 grant from CIBC Foundation to continue delivering its STEM after-school program. This renewed support will help expand access to high-quality STEM learning for students, focusing on youth who often face barriers to academic and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math. “We’re honoured by CIBC Foundation’s continued belief in our mission,” said Sam Leach, Co-Founder and Curriculum Director of Park Street Education. “This renewed commitment allows us to deepen our impact and continue building a pathway for students who have been historically underrepresented in STEM fields.”

Park Street Education’s STEM program is a 8-week virtual course designed to complement students’ classroom learning while approaching STEM topics through a lens of representation, equity, and real-world relevance. With a blend of small group sessions, guest speakers, and 1:1 tutoring, the program fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence.
