PARK STREET EDUCATION SECURES RENEWED $300,000 GRANT FROM TD BANK GROUP FOR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

TORONTO, ON (February 11, 2025) – Park Street Education is proud to announce the renewal of a significant grant from TD Bank Group (TD), $300,000 over the next three years. This continued support will bolster Park Street Education's after-school English and Math programs, to providing quality education to underserved youth.

The renewed grant aims to expand the reach of Park Street Education's successful after-school initiatives, with a goal of positively impacting the lives of 100 students annually from underserved communities. These programs focus on enhancing critical literacy and numeracy skills, fostering academic growth, and building confidence in young learners.

Park Street Education's after-school English and Math programs, now entering their fifth year, have shown remarkable success in improving student outcomes. The programs combine innovative teaching methods with real-world applications, making learning both engaging and relevant. A recent survey of participating students revealed that 87% reported increased motivation in their studies, while 75% showed significant improvement in their grade levels across core subjects.

The renewed funding will support curriculum enhancement and the expansion of Park Street's reach to additional underserved communities. It will also facilitate the continuation of their holistic approach to education, which addresses both academic needs and socio-emotional development.
