The Park Street teaching team is comprised of subject specialist teachers  passionate about sharing their knowledge with our students.

Julie Champagne - Head Teacher & Co-Founder


Julie is a teacher and school administrator dedicated to ensuring that the student experience is at the forefront of her practice. After graduating from Queen’s University, Julie hopped across to England to teach English and Drama at a city school in West Yorkshire. Upon her return to Canada, Julie took up a teaching post with Blyth Academy, where she wore many hats, including Department Head and Vice-Principal. An English teacher at heart, in 2020, Julie and Samantha Leach launched The English Tutor, an online English tutoring agency for children across the world.




Samantha Leach - Asst. Head Teacher, English Teacher & Co-Founder


Sam is a full-time English teacher and part-time Harry Potter professor. After having studied at Durham University where she graduated with a First-Class Honours, Sam taught in a number of boarding schools in the UK before moving across the pond in September 2019. Since then, she and Julie Champagne have launched their own tutoring agency called ‘The English Tutor’ which has been supporting children all over the world during the COVID-19 outbreak, including China, India, the UK and Canada.




Lisa Headley - Director of Operations & Phys. Ed. Teacher


Lisa started her teaching career almost three years ago in Beijing, China where she completed two school years teaching MYP PE. Before embarking on her teaching career, she worked in municipal government for more than 10 years in Park and Recreation taking on various roles. At Park Street, Lisa utilizes her Human Kinetics (Kinesiology) and Sport Management degree to offer PE to the students in a very unique way. With Lisa, students will look at Physical Education through different lenses such as wellness, nutrition and body awareness.




Caroline Savard - French Teacher


Caroline is our language enthusiast and teaches French at Park Street. Her great interest in everything related to languages, child development and education led her to study in those fields, and she has had the chance to teach for a wide variety of schools and clienteles. She is experienced in creating engaging French lessons that put the student son the path to success in their language studies.




Haitham Moussa - STEM Teacher


Haitham is our STEM teacher at Park Street. He makes sure every student feels like they have some level of agency in his classroom and responsibility in their educational experiences. Haitham uses his own education from his Bachelor of Science in Fundamental Genetics and Bachelor of Education to make sure that all his students get a clear understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts through a variety of educational lenses. Prior to working in education, Haitham worked in a governmental pilot program working to improve the experiences of students new to Canada. Fun fact: Haitham has done some minor voice acting work and enjoys messing around with sound design.




Kritrika Sabharwal - STEM Teacher


Kritrika is a STEM teacher at Park Street who enjoys building strong relationships with students and providing them with an opportunity to achieve their full potential. In addition to her Bachelor of Education in Math and Science, Bachelor, and Master of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Kritrika has more than eight years of teaching experience with students in grades 4 - 8. A world traveller, Kritrika started off teaching B.Tech classes in India, then shifted to Dubai where she undertook teaching math and science for grades 4 to 8. Finally, making the move to Canada after six years in Dubai.
